Health practitioners |
There are 25 categories of mandated reporters, including "clergy member, or any custodian of records of a clergy member." |
Any person who has the care or custody of an elder or dependent adult, any health practitioner, any employee of an adult protective services agency or law enforcement agency, any clergy member |
| What gets reported? |
Any wound inflicted by a firearm or suspected to be the result of an assault or abusive attack |
Suspected neglect or child abuse, which includes physical, sexual, and emotional abuse; unlawful sexual intercourse between an adult and a minor; incest |
An incident, either observed first-hand or verbally disclosed, that reasonably appears to be physical / sexual / emotional / fiduciary abuse, abandonment, isolation, or neglect |
